NEW MEMBERS We would like to welcome you to WSEU - Local 1 your union. This maybe the first time you have ever had experience with the union or you maybe very familiar with the union either way we are trying to make this an experience that is beneficial for both you and the organization. The first thing you should be aware of is that you need to be a member in "Good Standing" to be active in many of the union activities. A member in "Good Standing" means that you are paying dues and have signed the union green card. Be sure you are you sure your an active member sign a green card and are verify dues being deducted out of your check. If one or neither of these have happened you are NOT an active member (in good standing) and your voice doesn't matter. To verify you have signed a green card contact any of the board members and they can look up your card. Want to know more about your Local?
